first accident

Sept. 12, 2006
Rain soaked and slick roads contributed to two
simultaneous accidents on Becks Mill Road. In the first accident the
black Sedona topped a hill crest just north of Becks Mill to find a cow in
the road and managed to stop, a second vehicle popped over the hill and was
unable to stop on the wet pavement and struck the first vehicle. As
officers arrive at this scene they start receiving reports of a second
accident just a few miles down the road at Becks Mill and Rosebud Road
intersection.
The second accident was a single vehicle accident,
the car was traveling north when the driver lost control, struck the
embankment and rolled. The driver
was transported to Washington County Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The
patient was treated on scene by first
responders from Blue River Fire Department and Washington County Ambulance.
